MY BACKGROUND
Since I can remember, I wanted to perform for a living. Growing up I had a brilliant singing teacher, I took my Music Theatre grades, entered every singing competition, attended a performing arts college, then went on to train at The Arden School of Theatre where I got my 1st Class Degree in Musical Theatre.

Since then my career as a singer has taken me all over the world. I’ve performed on international tours, cruise ships, cabarets, festivals & pantomimes. I currently tour the UK with Entertainers shows.
I’ve been working as a vocal coach since 2012, I believe in a nurturing, fun, but personal approach. Everybody's voice, their previous experience and their reasons for wanting lessons are different, and should be treated as such.

We are often told to ‘do this’ or ‘do that’ but we aren’t told how or why it makes a difference. It’s important to me that students understand their voice as fully as possible to realise their potential.

My experience as a performer in the industry means I can offer audition advice, industry insight and first hand experience. Students of mine perform in touring rock bands, have auditioned and performed in professional theatre shows (West End/The Curve/UK Tours), have appeared on The Voice and been awarded places at drama schools.

Students who wish to take exams can do so safe in the knowledge that I have a 100% pass rate, 90% with distinction. I have experience tutoring for LCM, LAMDA, Rock School and GCSE examinations.
I’m a qualified Vocal Health First Aider, if you're experiencing problems with your voice I can be your first point of contact and support you through your recovery. So much of our identity is wrapped up in our voices and so problems with our voice can be incredibly distressing. Using a biopsychosocial approach we will work together to try to resolve any issues you might be facing.

As someone who had to practice incredibly hard to get where I am today, I know the importance of a good Vocal Coach. I’ve taken everything I have learned over the years and combined it into an approach that is friendly, informative and effective.
